“How white will my teeth be after the treatment?”

This depends on each individual and the extent of discoloration, on average 5-14 shades whiter can be expected. We have seen up to 18 Shades Whiter from our very own formula.

“How soon will I see results?”

You will see results instantly after your treatment.

"Is it Painful?"

“When can I have my next session?”

Following your initial treatment, we recommend you consider a 6-8 week top up to ensure your smile stays brighter and keeps you confident for longer.

“How do I maintain my new smile?”

By brushing your teeth, flossing regularly, and following the after-treatment steps provided at the time of treatment.

“How old do I have to be to use your teeth whitening product?”

The youngest age recommended is 16yrs. Consent from a parent or caregiver is to be provided prior to booking an appointment.

“I have bad stains from being a smoker/coffee/tea drinker, will your teeth whitening treatment still give me a great result?”

“Is it safe to have a teeth whitening treatment if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?”

Pregnant or breastfeeding women are advised to avoid teeth whitening as it can also be passed to the baby through breast milk. (Best to ask your GP for advice).

“Does it work on veneers and caps?”

Yes it does. Keeping in mind the treatment will only clean the veneers and caps back to its original colour.​

“I have recently had my braces removed, when can I have a treatment?”

Cement like residue from braces can last up for 3-6 months we recommend waiting for this time to ensure the surface of the tooth is clean. If cement remains whitening will not occur where the residue is present.

“Why is the LED light used for and is it safe?”

At Smiles on Wheels we use only the latest technology meaning we have Blue LED Teeth Whitening lights as it has been determined that the use of Blue LED whitening lights during treatment is the safest, longest lasting method.
