THE BRUSHAROO PROGRAM
The Brusharoo Program is a school and community-based oral health education experience designed to help children build lifelong healthy habits in a fun and memorable way.
Through storytelling, hands-on learning, and interactive activities, children learn how to care for their teeth in a way they actually understand and remember.
🦘 THE STORY OF BRUSHAROO
At the heart of the program is Brusharoo, a friendly kangaroo who helps children learn:
Why brushing is important
How sugar affects teeth
How to build strong daily habits
Children also meet Brusharoo’s playful friends, Flossie the Sugar Glider and Chompy the Croc, who help bring learning to life through storytelling and interaction.
🪥 WHAT CHILDREN LEARN
The Brusharoo session teaches:
✔ Brushing twice a day (morning & night)
✔ The impact of sugar on teeth
✔ Healthy drink choices
✔ How to care for their smile independently
✔ Positive dental habits without fear
🎲 HOW THE SESSION WORKS
Each Brusharoo visit includes:
A fun storytelling session
Interactive demonstrations
Visual sugar comparisons
Group participation activities
Take-home learning reinforcement
Sessions are designed to be engaging, age-appropriate, and memorable.
🏫 WHO IT’S FOR
Brusharoo is suitable for:
