BRUSHAROO PROGRAM

(FOR PARENTS & FAMILIES)

The Brusharoo Program is a fun, school-based oral health education program delivered by Smiles on Wheels.
Through storytelling, puppetry and interactive learning, children build healthy habits, learn how to care for their teeth, and develop positive attitudes towards dental care.

MEET BRUSHAROO

Brusharoo is a friendly kangaroo who helps children learn how to care for their teeth in a way they understand and enjoy.

Children also meet:
  • Flossie the Sugar Glider
  • Chompy the Croc

Together, they make learning about brushing, sugar, and healthy habits fun and memorable.

What Children Learn
  •  Brushing twice each day
  •  Healthy food and drink choices
  •  Why sugar can harm teeth
  •  Simple daily habits for healthy smiles
  • Confidence about visiting the dentist

What Happens During a Brusharoo Visit

Every Brusharoo visit includes:
  •  Interactive storytelling
  •  Oral health education
  • Fun group activities
  •  Take-home resources for families

Sessions are age-appropriate, engaging and designed to make learning fun.
