We focus on making dental care more accessible and comfortable for people who may find it difficult to attend a traditional clinic, including seniors, people living with disability or additional needs, nervous patients, and busy individuals and families. Our approach is calm, gentle, and prevention-focused, with the aim of supporting healthy, functional, and comfortable smiles. Services include dental examinations and preventive care, along with clear guidance and referrals when more complex treatment is required. Smiles on Wheels also delivers professional teeth whitening services through The Whitening Lab, and community oral health education programs through the Brusharoo Program. |

ExaminationsWe can provide routine dental examinations to assess the health of your teeth and surrounding tissues within the mouth.
We will perform a thorough examination of your oral health. We will inspect the teeth, gums, tissues and existing dentures. We will complete a dental charting, take photographs of teeth, and can provide a report of our findings, and recommend any further treatment if necessary. |
Preventive ServicesWe provide routine dental cleaning, and application of preventive treatments to aid in the prevention of cavities, gum disease and worn enamel in teeth. We strive to keep our patient's teeth functional, and pain free.
Our Oral Health Therapist (OHT) provides a range of preventive care, including removal of calculus (tartar), plaque and stains, periodontal treatment, fluoride treatments, cleaning of dentures and dietary advice/oral hygiene instructions for both the patient, carer and/or facility staff. |
Referral Pathway If advanced, or further treatment is needed, we’ll discuss your options and recommend the best course of action.
We can refer patients to local clinics or specialists if they require procedures beyond our mobile capabilities. |
